Lawrence Johnson will be hosting a King Dominoes competition on June 28 at
Watooka Complex in the mining town of Linden.
The competition which is being dubbed ‘Desert Eagle’ will see the winner pocketing $500,000. Entrance fee is $1000 per person and nomination commences at 09:00 hrs.
Organising Secretary of the Georgetown Dominoes Association (GDA) Mark Wiltshire said the tournament is expected to be keenly contested since some of the top players from Georgetown and Linden will be on show.
He added that there will be other attractions including a ball room dance off which carries a first prize of $10,000.
