Glenford Kitt, of Lot 383 Kuru Kuru Soesdyke/Linden Highway, is now at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) nursing a severe chop to one of his arms following a confrontation with another man, Denzil Waddell.
According to one person, Kitt was rushed to the GPHC with his arm hanging from just above the elbow. The bystander suggested that the man may lose the limb.
Yesterday, when Kaieteur News reporter visited the hospital the man was still undergoing surgery.
Another man Quincy Abrams, of 31 Friendship Public Road East Bank Demerara, was air dashed from the Wallabaka backdam to the GPHC with a gunshot wound to his abdomen, on Tuesday.
According to reports Abrams was shot during an argument with another man. The alleged shooter was not the person engaged in the argument with Abrams; he was the person “picking up fire-rage”.
Abrams has since been released from the hospital with the bullet still lodged in his body.
Meanwhile, Samuel Wilson, 38, also of Kuru-Kuru, is still in the Intensive Care unit (ICU) of GPHC fighting for his life. Kaieteur News understands that the man’s condition is still the same as the day of his admission.
Wilson was shot by his 16 year old step-son, after he had scolded the youth about his unbecoming behaviour. The teen is still at large as police continues their investigations.
Ravi Outar, of Second Street Rosehall Town, also a patient in the hospital’s ICU, is in a critical but stable condition.
Outar’s wife, Meshelle Outar, told Kaieteur News reporter that her husband is still unable to speak as he has a tube in his mouth. She said that due to his condition he was unable to undergo the surgery which he was scheduled to have two days ago.
Outar according to reports have seven bullets lodged in different parts of his body. He was shot by a man who he was able to identify to the police, outside his home where he owns and operate a sports bar, on June 10, 2015. One person is in police custody assisting with investigations.
