Heineken’s Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League Final will be held today at 2:45pm and local distributors, Ansa McAl will host its annual grand viewing party at Gravity
Lounge on Camp and Regent Streets.
Customers across Guyana had the chance to take part in Foosball competitions at various bars in the Heineken UEFA Series to win tickets to the event today. Kwame Christian-McRae was one of the latest winners at Altitude Bar and Lounge, Sandy Babb Street, Kitty.
Tickets will not be sold for the event today, which is scheduled to be a massive showdown in one of footballs greatest Leagues. Patrons participated in Heineken promotions throughout Guyana to win tickets to the final viewing party today.
“As we got closer to the final party more and more people were interested in the foosball contest and winning tickets to the event. I am very happy with the success of the promotion,” Heineken’s Brand Manager, Robert Hiscock told Kaieteur Sport.
He stated that it was “nice to see” a large cross-section of society participating in the promotion.
“Seeing men and women alike challenging the Heineken representatives was a great experience for me,” Hiscock indicated.
“I personally love football and it gives me great pleasure to share that sentiment with Heineken
customers in Guyana. As the sport continues to grow in our country I can only see the promotion becoming even bigger and better next year,” he added.
According to the Heineken Brand Manager, as Barcelona and Juventas battle in the Champions League final, Heineken will be continuing its reward of customers at the final viewing party at Gravity Lounge. The purchase of buckets of Heineken gives patrons the chance to win prizes at the party scheduled to start at game time this afternoon.
