Heineken’s Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League
(UCL) Series Promotion continued last weekend at Seeta’s Bar in Kitty and Dave’s Bar in Grove, East Bank of Demerara with Jermaine Munroe winning at Seeta’s Saturday night and Sheik Yussuf winning at Dave’s Bar Sunday night. Both players won official UEFA-branded footballs.
Both players won in the Foosball Competition. Foosball is a table assimilation of football, and is being played as part of Heineken UEFA Series Promotion at bars across Guyana. The promotion will end on June 6 with a massive final party.
“We are excited at how well the promotion is doing. As the Heineken Brand Manager it’s always nice to bring something new, and unique, to the table. This Foosball Competition is another way for us to do that and reward our customers at the same time,” Heineken Brand Manager, Robert Hiscock told Kaieteur Sport following the event.
Hiscock believes Guyana is passionate about football and as such, Heineken will ensure that the occasion continues to be special. Heineken is a global sponsor of the Champions League, and as a result, the brand will continue to kick off its annual local promotion.
Customers across Guyana are enjoying the chance to take part in similar Foosball Competitions at the various bars in the Heineken UCL Series where football fans will be given the opportunity to enjoy the final stages of the UEFA Champions League.
The 2015 Heineken-sponsored event promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Purchase of a bucket (or buckets) of Heineken gives participants chance to enter the Foosball Competition where they can win prizes that range from footballs to wrist watches.
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
