A Hampton Court, Essequibo Coast family is making funeral arrangements to bury one of their
relatives who lost his life in Berbice, on Saturday.
Devendra Hardial, 28, also known as ‘Vicky’ and ‘Magic’ died before receiving medical attention after an iron door pinned him.
Hardial was said to be constructing a silo with a group of men when tragedy struck.
The victim was taken to the Fort Wellington Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to reports, Hardial, who is the elder of two children, had left the Essequibo Coast on Easter Saturday for Berbice where he was said to be working with a private individual who was constructing a silo.
