The New Amsterdam Zone of the Berbice Conference of the National Schools’
Basketball Festival (NSBF) tipped-off Monday evening with two games: Berbice Educational Institute (BEI) defeated Vryman’s Erven 31-20 and New Amsterdam Multilateral School beat New Amsterdam Technical Institute 34-24.
In the first game, Shemar France scored 22 points and grabbed four rebounds for (BEI) while Mark Wilson scored eight points with five rebounds for Vryman’s Erven. In the second game, Neil Wills had 17 points and six rebounds for NA Multi while David Hope scored six points and grabbed seven rebounds for NA Technical Institute.
