The 2015 Raffik and Sons Construction Services Second Division 20-Over Cricket Competition for teams in
Central/Lower Corentyne area and organised by the Berbice Cricket Board, continued recently with defending champions Courtland All Stars registering an easy 9-wicket win over Toopoo Rising Star. Their pacers, former Berbice opening bowler Eon Gibson with 4 for 14 from 4 overs and Keon Sinclair 4 for 18 off 4 overs skittled out Toopoo for a paltry 83 in 13 overs. Sinclair came back with the bat to hit 48 not out consisting of 5 fours and 3 sixes to steer them to 84 for 1 in 10 overs.
Mankarran Singh slammed 50 with 5 fours and 3 sixes which together with 36 from Ravi Bassoo (3 fours and 3 sixes) helped Kennard’s Memorial post 170 for 6 in their 20 overs against Sand Reef who in reply were restricted to 144 for 6 in 20 overs despite knocks of 45 (4 fours and 4 sixes) from Shivnarine Sahid, 36 (4 fours) from Imran Naresbage and 31 (4 fours and 1 six) from Bashir Khan.
After Fyrish Road made 153 for 7 in 20 overs against Fyrish Strykers, their medium pacer William Das took 4 for 15 from 4 overs to help bowl out Strykers for just 117 in their reply.
Port Mourant also recorded victory by 9 wickets over Mibicuri Strikers with Parmanand Narine scoring 33 n.o.

Fyrish Road 153 for 7 in 20 overs with William Dass 23, Rafeek Kassim 22, Shameem Ahmad, Dickwan Campbell and Ritesh Ramoutar 21 each. Fyrish Strikers 117 in 16.2 overs with Yadram Barran 34. William Dass took 4 for 15, Hassan Hussain 2 for 18 and Saud Ahmed 2 for 23.
4: At Port Mourant, the host beat Mibicuri Strikers by 9 wickets. The visitors made 81 in 19.4 overs with Lekraj Paltu 20. Devendra Thakurdeen 3 for 4. Port Mourant 82 for 1 in 9.1 overs with Parmanand Narine 33 n.o and Darmesh Seenarine 28 n.o.
