The Guyana Badminton Association Trophy Stall Annual Age Group Singles Badminton tournament concluded last Saturday at the Queen’s College Badminton Courts.
Guyana’s two top National players brought down the curtains to end the tournament which started the previous Saturday with Narayan Ramdhani defeating Jonathan Mangra in a three setter: 20-22, 21-13 and 21-11.
Third place went to Hemraj Beharry who defeated Tyreese Jeffrey in a three setter: 21-19, 17-21, 15-21.
The Under-13 Boys Finals saw Tyeese Richards defeating Baoxiang Liu: 21-15.
The Presentation was done by Ms. Jackie Benn (Headmistress of Queens College), Mr. Yuyin Liu of the Chinese Embassy, Mr. Lakshram Das of Bank of Baroda & Ms. Gillian Mangra of the GBA.
The GBA would like to thank Mr. Ramesh Sunich of the Trophy Stall for making this tournament possible and in helping with the development of Badminton and Sports in Guyana.
