The Ryan Crawford Memorial Turf Club ands Sports Facility of Alness Corentyne, Berbice will come alive on Easter Sunday, April 5th beginning at 10:00 hrs.
The occasion will be the Hogstye-Lancaster sports and family fun day and Gymkhana. The activity is being sponsored by among others, Banks DIH Limited and the Regional Administration.
According to coordinator Ron Elcock, there will be a slew of activities all day long which are expected to run way into the night: including domino competition, duck curry cook off and bar-b-que, Bingo, Gymkhana, athletics, donkey races, sack races, lime-n-spoon, pony rides.
There will also be dancing competitions, greasy pig, greasy pole, kite flying competition and a number of traditional games. A number of prizes and giveaways will be available.
Popular stereo sets will provide musical compliments while a talent show will be a main feature in the evening featuring select local artiste and a surprise guest artiste.
