Vybz Entertainment, the franchise holder for the Linden Town Week 2015, announced the plans in train for the Town Week which begins on April 25 and ends May 4.
According to franchise holder, Devin Sears, new on the agenda for Town Week will be the Bikers’ Fest which would see Clubs from Linden and other parts of Guyana performing stunts and demonstrating other skills on April 28, at Wismar. There is Wismar night on May 1.
Also new are the Jazz and Poetry Night and the Regional Night. Artistes the likes of De Marco, Duane Stephenson and Skinny Fabulous will be on show. The full figured girls’ “Big, Bold and Beautiful Pageant” will be on April 30. The Linden Town Week Pageant will be on April 25.
Sears said that in addition to the regular activities there will be the VYBZ Girls who are the faces of the Town Week and are part of the PR Team. They were trained in interpersonal relations by Ms. Karlene Barrow, a lecturer at the Linden Technical Institute, and in poise by Shellain Barker, a former model.
The Queen for the Linden Town Week Pageant will walk away with a motorcar, compliments of Trans Pacific Auto Sales and other prizes. The second place finisher will have a full scholarship to the University of Guyana. The third place finisher will receive a laptop and a trip to a resort.
