– extends thanks to Sunburst Orange Juice for its support
Aware of all the new kids on the block, Guyana’s most identifiable Superbike racer Stephen ‘Valentino Rossi’ Vieira is busy plotting revenge against all and sundry in 2015.
Guyana and regional Superbike king Stephen ‘Valentino Rossi’ Vieira poses in front of his sponsor Sunburst Orange Juice sign yesterday.
Vieira, who is being sponsored by Sunburst Orange Juice, spoke with Kaieteur Sport yesterday about his plans and preparations ahead of the first leg of the Caribbean Motor Racing Championship which is scheduled to be staged from February 27-28 in Negril, Jamaica.
Speaking about his plans, Vieira, a multiple-times national and regional champion said that he hopes to compete in two categories, namely the Superstock and Supersport since his sponsor Sunburt Orange Juice is aiming to have two bikes involved in racing this year.
About his preparations, the easygoing speedster told this newspaper that his focus right now is to regain the status of the undisputed king of the Superbikes in the Caribbean and all preparations are pointed to doing just that.
According to him, he will be piloting a Suziki GSXR 600cc machine and he is satisfied with the preparations so it is just a matter of him getting mentally ready to throw down the gauntlet on the opposition.
Another key focus according to him is to set the track record on the new Circuit in Negril apart from hoping to dominate the Meet.
Vieira was extremely thankful to Mr. Rakesh Puri and Continental Agencies through its Sunburst brand for the support they’ve offered him over the years.
He assured them that he will be going all out to make them proud starting with the Meet in Jamaica and promised more dominance in the other legs of the Series.
