Following the completion of the first round of matches in the Republic Cup, the Georgetown Softball Cricket League (GSCL Inc) has issued a strong warning to teams and fans who attempt to bring the game into disrepute.
The caution came after players showed dissent at the Everest Cricket Club following the completion of the first round of matches in the open segment on Sunday. At an executive meeting held at GSCL headquarters in Seaforth Street on Sunday night, the body wishes to inform that stringent disciplinary actions will be enforced against any team, fans and umpires who bring the game into disrepute.
GSCL Inc apologises to the executive and members of the Everest Cricket Club for any inconvenience caused.
The only savior of Guyana.
