Annual Nestle Milo Under-20 Schools Football Competition…
Chase Academy, one of the teams favoured to go all the way in this year’s Annual Nestle Milo Under-20 Schools Football Competition sent an ominous sign to all teams that stand in its way that they are ready and raring
to go after completing a convincing 5-0 win over St. Stanislaus College on Saturday, at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue.
Appearing in the third of four scheduled games, Chase Academy who’ve listed a star-studded team that includes the prolific Marlon Nedd went ahead as early as the fourth minute through Nedd and stretched their advantage five minutes later when relentless pressure resulted in an own goal.
Isaiah Reddy then increased their lead when he netted in the 19th minute as they took a handy 3-0 score line to the break.
On the resumption, Chase Academy continued their assault on the St. Stanislaus goal area and despite of a determined effort to deny the rampaging Chase Academy team more goals they eventually conceded another this time with Jeremy Garrett netting in the 40th minute.
The score line remained that way until the final whistle sounded to hand Chase Academy a well deserved win.
