The Athletics Association of Guyana’s 2015 season opens today February 1st with a Developmental Meet set for the Guyana Defence Force Ground, Camp Ayanganna.
Action begins at 1:00pm.
Junior, Youth and senior athletes will compete in 60M, 150m, 300m, 600m and the Javelin, Discus and Shot Put events.
Developmental Meets are used to prime athletes and keep them active for the traditional races at the National junior and Senior Championships.
The first Cross Country Race for 2015 will be held in Linden next Sunday, February 8th.
The AAG indicated that an updated list of activities for 2015 will soon be made available.
