Up to press time, the Bermuda National who was arrested at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport early on Saturday after admitting to swallowing a number of pellets packed with cocaine, had passed out 392 grammes of the illegal substance.
Njela Fublar, of Frento Drive, Bermuda, is still being monitored by police ranks at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
Kaieteur News was told that the 23-year-old was about to board a Caribbean Airlines flight when ranks from the Police Narcotics Branch observed that she was acting in a suspicious manner.
She was also sweating profusely.
After being interrogated, she reportedly admitted to swallowing the pills.
However, the woman did not say how many of the pills she had ingested.
She was subsequently rushed to the GPHC where she remains a patient.
