Old Year’s Night is when a lot of people have fun or choose to welcome de new year in different ways. Some does go to church, some use to go to church, like Brassington, but nuff people does choose to go and party.
De boss man fuh de Waterfalls paper been to Pegasus, had a good time, then go to Palm Court. He and dem boys meet Jagdeo, Ramotar, Irfaat, Bee Kay and nuff others. Dem meet Manny, who own de place.
Jagdeo, Ramotar and de others see dem boys. Bee Kay choke and Irfaat pointing finger all de time saying how de Waterfalls boss man got he feeling uncomfortable.
Jagdeo tell him don’t worry, that de year near done and dem boys gun lef dem in peace. De boss man hear he and seh, “I am not leaving you guys in 2014. So pack your traps, grab my hands. We are going to 2015 together. We ain’t leffing you-all behind.
Donald realize wha was happening and he decide that he don’t want no part of this. So he lef and go to Sleep Inn. De boss man lef fuh go in de urinal. Jagdeo get up and go behind him. He couldn’t wait fuh tek de boss man hand and walk into 2015.
But de boss man know and Jagdeo know that you can’t control how some people will treat you or what they may say about you. But dem boys seh that you can control how dem react to you.
Good friends care for each other, not that de boss man and Jagdeo is good friends; close friends understand each other—well nobody ain’t understand Donald Duck—but true friends stay forever—beyond words, beyond distance and beyond time.
Talk half and remember true friends.
