Public schools across the country are scheduled for a Tuesday January 6, 2015, opening. This is according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Education which notified public schools of the opening date in a public missive
The statement went on to point out that candidates who have enlisted for the January sitting of the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations, are reminded that these will be conducted on Monday, January 5, 2015 as timetabled.
Additionally, parents and guardians are also asked to note that schools will be closed on March 27, 2015, for the annual Easter Vacation.
It was also noted that the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) will be conducted on Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2, 2015.
