Dear Sir,
Given the findings of the Ombudsman in his report which linked certain high ranking public officials in the trumped up charges against the Managers of NBS, Guyanese now wait with bated breath on how this very serious matter would be addressed by their elected representatives on both sides of the House when Parliament reconvenes.
In any given democracy, conspiring to put innocent persons before the Courts on false charges is deemed criminal and punishable by Law.
I trust that there would be a unified approach on the way forward in this matter by our Parliamentarians who should be reminded that a close relative could have been a victim of this most heinous, evil and despicable act.
The perpetrators must not be allowed to go scot free.
