Two persons are in serious but critical condition at the Suddie Public Hospital after the vehicle in which they were traveling crashed into another parked vehicle, at Reliance, Essequibo Coast.
The accident occurred around 11:30 Sunday night.
According to reports, the driver of the vehicle attempted to swerve from a donkey, which was on the Reliance Public Road when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed.
The two persons sustained cuts and bruises about their body and injuries to the head. The police said the patients’ conditions are serious but not critical.
This recent accident came days after a Dunkel teenager lost his life on the Ex-Mouth public road, on Christmas night.
Devendra Jaipaul was riding his bicycle when he was struck down by another young man, who was driving his father’s Sports Utility Vehicle.
