Lindeners now see a new dimension to hosting events such as weddings, birthdays, retirement parties and any other special occasion, with the opening of J and C Renaissance Banquet Hall in Lover’s Lane, Amelia’s Ward.
According to Proprietrix Janis Moore Mc Calman says that it is a dream come true. She said that a couple getting married will no longer need to go past their budget; they can just come in and have everything under one roof.
“If you are planning to spend three hundred dollars for your wedding I will help you to budget, you can have the Hall fully decorated in colours of your choice, you can even have the bridal dress, the groom and groomsmen suits and the bridemaids dresses, tokens, everything. So it is not a run around to buy decorations and have people hurrying to decorate hall and all the fuss, everything can be done to suit your budget.
Ms. Mc Calman said that even the menu can be arranged so you only cater for your cake, drinks and rings and soon all that would be in the package.
Janis said that while she was in the United States of America it was her dream to come home and open the first ever Banquet Hall and Bridal Shoppe in Linden.
With the support of her husband she has done so. She said that she saw the need for such a business because “Lindeners were not getting their money’s worth when they have a function and have to run helter skelter to get various things done.”
