The Gafoor Foundation made its Annual contribution to six Non-Profit Organizations (NGO) recently.
Executive Chairman, Mr. Sattaur Gafoor, handed over the cheques to representatives of the various organizations at Gafsons Houston Complex. Also present was administrator of the Gafoor Foundation, Mrs. Ameena Gafoor.
These organisations that received cheques include: The Dharm Shala, Help and Shelter, Guyana Red Cross, Joshua Home, Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha for the Shelter for Children in Port Mourant and the Cheshire Home.
Administrator of The Gafoor Foundation, Mrs. Ameena Gafoor, said that their Company recognizes the work of individuals and institutions that are addressing the needs of vulnerable and deserving members of society including orphans, indigent persons and women. The Foundation also focuses on education, the arts and people who have health challenges.
