Due to unrelenting rainfall in the city which left most of the grounds water logged, this
weekend matches in the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) New Building Society 40-over second division and Banks Malta Supreme U-13 tournaments were called off.
In the second division competition, Muslim Youth Organisation were set to host St. Stanislaus and Gandhi Youth Organisation were also set to entertain Demerara Cricket Club yesterday, while Transport Sports Club and Guyana Defence Force were scheduled to clash at GYO, GNIC were listed to challenge Georgetown Cricket Club at MYO and Police were fixed to battle Third Class at Malteenoes SC today.
In the Banks Malta Supreme U-13 on Saturday, Malteenoes SC were set play TSC at 09:30hrs and GYO were scheduled to challenge DCC at 13:30 hrs at GNIC.
