DEAR EDITOR,
Over the past weeks, we the readers of newspapers have been bombarded with a ‘National Excuse’ to cover up for things our politicians say. It is therefore quite okay to suggest that APNU utilize the ‘National Excuse’ in defence of Ms. Nestor and Mr. Roopnaraine’s comments – they are taken ‘Out of Context’. Way to go!
If the AG could blatantly threaten people, admit that it is his voice, and his political pals and by extension, none other than the President, can justify his statements as being taken ‘Out of Context’, there should be no punishment for those two Opposition stalwarts.
Or is it that this expeditious forgiveness is set aside for only ‘Chatris’? Sorry Ms. Nestor and sorry Mr. Roopnaraine, you are only chatty.
Wanda Ross
