All-rounder Ricardo Adams will lead Wakenaam in the upcoming Essequibo Cricket Board (ECB)/Busta 50-over
Festival which starts on Friday on the Essequibo Coast.
Adams, who played for Guyana at the U-19 level and performed creditably in the recently concluded Guyana Cricket Board senior inter county tournament, will have talented national U-19 all-rounder Keemo Paul as his deputy.
The full squad reads; Ricardo Adams (capt.), Keemo Paul (v.capt.), Wayne Osborne, Oyono Sampson, Seon Venture, Imran Khan, Chandrika Ragnauth, Navishaul Pooran, Moin Khan, Ryan Adams (wk), Bernard Lewis, Nazeer Mohamed and Gurnauth Khemraj. The coach is Nandkishore Andrews and Looknauth Persaud is the manager. Wakenaam will play Bartica on Friday in their opening game at Pomona.
