Better Hope overcame Fazal Kayume XI by three wickets when the Rafman Alli softball competition continued on Sunday
last at Everest Cricket Club.
In the over-35 category, Fazal Kayume XI made 184-5 off their allocation of 20 overs, batting first. Yunnis Yusuf stroked 85 and Rawl Reid 35. Better Hope replied with 195-7 in 19 overs. S. Glasgow scored 65 and S. Manoj 28. Reid returned with the ball to take 3-12.
However Kaieteur Sport was informed that Fazal Kayume XI had protested the game due to Better Hope fielding a number of under aged players.
