Three issues continue to dominate local existence and this is going to continue for the rest of the year. The three are armed robbery on hapless people, senseless road fatalities and river accidents.
In the past week all these things have happened just as I warned and I hasten to say that the coming weeks will see more of the same.

A wounded animal can be dangerous and more often than not, it is. An issue at this time has seriously hurt the style of a leading political figure. At the same time the source of the pain has drawn attention to a serious ill in the society.
The fallout will see a partial mending of fences but there will continue to be a measure of distrust because there were broken promises in the past.

A fraud is going to be uncovered in the Ministry of Finance. Pensions would be involved because some clever person is going to be accessing pensions intended for retired public servants. This is already going on but the problem is that some of these retired public servants are no more.
