Success Warriors trounced Good Hope by 29 runs when action in the Rafman Ali softball tournament continued last Sunday.
Playing at Everest Cricket Club, Success Warriors batted first and scored 134-9 in 15 overs. Sachin Ramsarran scored 27 and Kalesh Deosarran 19. Rajin Singh and Alex Singh captured two wickets each. Good Hope were bowled out for 105 in 14 overs in reply. Rajin Singh made 21 and Alex Singh 18. Kevin Olford grabbed 3-19 and Gary Singh snared 2-18.
Success Warriors overcame Brickery by 104 runs in their match up at the same venue. Success posted 184-4 in 15 overs, taking first knock. Ramsarran led with 68 and Suruj Budhu made 44. Brickery were skittled for 80 in nine overs in response. Olford was the pick of the bowlers with 3-15, while Rajendra Ramnauth took 2-4.
Success Shot Gun gained a walk over from Better Hope Warriors.
