Play in the latest round of the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA)/New Building Society (NBS) second division 40-over tournament was halted due to rain on Sunday last.
At the Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC), the home team were prevented of a possible victory after restricting Diplomats for 78 in 24.3 overs. Mark Cumberbatch, Steven Sankar and Miguel Persaud claimed three wickets each for the host.
At Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO), the host managed 188-9 in 35 overs, batting first against Gandhi Youth Organisation. Richard Latiff stroked 70 and Abdul Kadir made 40. Abdul Raheem snared three wickets and Garfield De Roche two. Both teams were unable to commence their reply.
