Ann’s Grove FC registered an upset 2 nil victory over BV Triumph United, while Victoria Kings FC defeated Sparta United by a similar margin when action in the East Demerara Football Association (EDFA) Stag Beer League continued at the Victoria Community Centre last Thursday afternoon.
Seon Robinson (60) and Alden Lawrence (82) scored for Victoria Kings, while Travin Allen netted a double in the 80th and 83rd minutes for Ann’s Grove.
Activities continue tomorrow afternoon with a double header at the Buxton Community Centre; at 14:00hrs, BV Triumph take on Golden Stars, while at 16:00hrs Buxton United will oppose Buxton Stars.
