It is known as one of the most lucrative events over the years and this year is
anticipated to be no different; the 17th annual Troy Humphrey Memorial Cycling Race Meet is set for the Inner Circuit of the National Park on Saturday.
Sponsored by Mr. George Humphrey of Humphrey’s Bakery and Farm Products, Ketley Street Charlestown and the Humphrey’s family, the event is held in memory of the late Troy Humphrey who was one of Guyana’s top cyclists at the time of his death as a result of an accident.
The family has sought to keep the memory of Troy alive through what he knew best during his lifetime, cycling. Last year’s event was held at the Seawall Bandstand.
Attractive cash prizes will be at stake in all the events on Saturday which are as follows.
