Owner of Sanjay’s Jewelry, Mr Sanjay Persaud, has expressed pleasure to sponsor another golf tournament this year at the Lusignan Golf Club billed for tomorrow, Sunday, 19th October, with tee-off at 9:30am.
The Classic Golf Tournament promises several interesting prizes. Mr Sanjay Persaud informed, “I am putting up three souvenir gold Golf Clubs for prizes, along with the other activities I normally do for the tournaments.”
According to Club President David Mohamad, “We at the Lusignan Golf Club are very appreciative for the support that Sanjay’s Jewelry is giving to the LGC and golfing in Guyana. We would certainly be delighted if other sponsors – individual or corporate – would support the sport in a similar way.”
Mohamed noted that the LGC ground is in great shape, and golfers will find the outfield well cut, further expressing his excitement that following immediately after last Saturday’s Tournament, this Sunday’s Sanjay’s Jewelry Classic will definitely condition the minds and bodies of all the Guyana hopefuls for competition in the 36-hole round Guyana Open Golf Tournament billed for 1st and 2nd November this year – two weekends from this one!
