The Carib Beer first division T20 cricket competition continued last Saturday with three Zone ‘C’ (Corentyne) rescheduled
matches. In Albion’s first of back to back matches, their national wicketkeeper/batsman Anthony Bramble, opening, hit 54 (7×4 2×6) to lead them to 147 all out in 19.5 overs against Port Mourant whose left arm spinner Bisham Deolall took 4-17 from 3.4 overs.
Port Mourant in reply, found the going tough against the all spin Albion attack and struggled to 69-9 in 20 overs. Off spinners Sharaz Ramcharran, Jonathan Foo and Verapen Permaul took two wickets each.

At Albion – Albion CC won the toss and took first strike against Skeldon Community Centre. They amassed 208-3 in 20 overs. Anthony Bramble 82*, Jonathan Foo 68, Kandasammy Surujnarine 24 and Veerasammy Permaul 24. Skeldon Community Center 82 in 13 overs, Tameshwar Ramoutar 22, Veerasammy Permaul 2-0 from 5 balls, Gudakesh Motie 2-19 from 4 overs and Verapen Permaul 2-28 from 4 overs.
At Area H ground: Rose Hall Town Gizmos and Gadgets defeated Guytrac Upper Corentyne by 30 runs. In the match which was reduced to 12 overs per side due to the late arrival of the Upper Corentyne team, Rose Hall Town Gizmos and Gadgets chose to bat first and posted 95-7 off 12 overs; Delbert Hicks led with 41, Royston Crandon 26. Lakeram Latchman took 4-17 and medium pacer Lakeram Roopchand 2-24. Guytrac Upper Corentyne 65-6 in 12 overs. Keon Sinclair took 2-8 from 2 overs.
