Sherwin Corring appeared before Chief magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday to address a charge of Simple Larceny.
It is alleged that on October 2, last, at the Soesdyke bus park, Quincy Calden parked his minibus. Corring entered the vehicle and was seen by a passenger removing the deck. He made good his escape. The matter was reported and the defendant was apprehended at the South Ruimveldt bus park.
Corring pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted $20,000 bail; the matter was transferred to court six for Oct 28.
