Opening day winners, Herstelling Raiders and Grove Hi Tech will seek to maintain their winning form when day two of the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports/East Bank Football Association Under-13 league comes off at the Farm ground, East Bank, tomorrow.
Herstelling who got past Agricola Red Triangle by the lone goal of their encounter on Saturday last will come up against Diamond United in the day’s feature clash. Leading Herstelling will be Captain and goal scorer Devon Winter who plays defense.
While Diamond lost to Grove 0-5 in their first game, it is expected that they would be a much more formidable unit having undergone intense training during the week.
The day’s second game will see Grove taking on Agricola, the former team will be a confident bunch following victory on the opening day. Agricola though can be expected to come out blazing as they seek at least a share of the points tomorrow.
The day’s opening game at 10:00hrs will see Kuru Kururu Warriors and Soesdyke Falcons matching skills in their first game of the league.
