Ogle Community Centre will come alive on Sunday September 14, 2014 when the powerful Lusignan Sports Club and talented Ogle Cricket Club clash in the Elizabeth Styles/East Coast Cricket Board first division 40 overs final.
The game was previously scheduled to be played on August 17, but due to heavy rains it had to be postponed. This match is expected to be a thriller with both teams fielding quality players and as usual Ogle Community Centre is known for its large crowd.
Lusignan Sports Club squad is: Kumar Bisoondial, Vishnu Ramjeet, Somdatt Bharat, Brian Sattaur, Steven Ramdass, Gajanand Sukdeo, Steve Alick, Narvan Singh, Emran Khan, Rajindra Naikbaran, Leon Morgan, Shazam Ali, Ferron Kadir, Chetram Gangadeen and Mahendra Jeenarine. Manager is Jewan Persaud and coach is Jeenarine
The Ogle Cricket Club squad will come from: Anand Persaud, Irfan Ali, Andre Gomes, Khemraj Jaikaran, Chris Pattadin, Khemchand Dindyal, Soopaul Sanichar, Sahadeo Ramkellawan, Davindra Ramtahal, Vishal Moorchan, Sunindra Ramsingh, Ayodha Joseph, Daniel Chunilall, Michael Deonarine, Tulsieram Balkaran with David Harper being the coach and Mohamed Khan being Manager.
Play is expected to start at 10:00 hours and the umpires are Gavin D’Aguiar and Eva Baker with the match referee being Judister Rampersaud.
