The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) announced an 18-man squad along with five officials who are expected to depart shortly for St. Kitts & Nevis to participate in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Caribbean Cup.
Guyana will play in Group 6 and the other territories in the group are host St. Kitts & Nevis, Dominica and St. Lucia.
Guyana open up their pursuit to advance further in the competition against Dominica on September 3 and that will be followed by the clash against St. Lucia two days later, while their final game is against St. Kitts & Nevis on September 9. All three matches will be played at Warner Park.
Meanwhile, the players named are: (Goalkeepers- Oswald Cornette and Dorville Stewart; (Defenders)-Steffon Ramsay, Walter Moore, Quincy Adams, Adrian Adonis, Joshua Browne and Trevon Lythcott; (Midfielders) – Eusi Phillips, Jahal Greaves, Eon Alleyne, Mark Jhalu and Jamaal Harvey and (Forwards) – Delwin Fraser, Delroy Fraser, Shaquille Agard, Clarence Huggins and William Europe.
The Manager is Carlos Bernard, while the Head Coach is Denzil Thompson, Assistant Coach- Dwain Babb, Physical Trainer – Germin Craig and Physiotherapist – Lacretia Abiola Blair.
