Two lucky Guyanese will be watching live the finals of the Limacol CPL T20 Tournament in St Kitts and Nevis with the kind compliments of El Dorado Rums, which is the official spirit of the competition.
Cricket lover George Pile of Lot 6 Hyde Park, Timehri and his guest Mr. Ritudeo Ramgulam will be part of the enjoyment in the Caribbean when the competition comes to an end today.
Kaieteur News was told that Pile along with his guest will join 12 (twelve) other winners from around the Caribbean who entered the El Dorado “Play De Winnin’ Shot” Promotion.
Consumers of El Dorado rum in Trinidad, Barbados, Antigua, St. Lucia, Grenada and St. Kitts were asked to remove the specially placed CPL stickers from the bottle and place them into entry boxes around the country for a chance to win hundreds of prizes.
Pile was selected at the final drawing held on August 8, 2014. He received two airline tickets, accommodation at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & the Royal Beach Casino, 2 (two) cricket tickets and spending money.
A very excited Mr. Pile noted “he was surprised and happy that he won the trip. I have never travelled to St. Kitts before so I am looking forward to the opportunity”.
Mrs. Maria Munroe, Brand Manager of Demerara Distillers Limited, congratulated the winners and noted that El Dorado was very pleased to be a major partner of the Limacol CPLT20. “El Dorado is already established around the globe as the World’s Best Rum and we are extremely happy to be able to give cricketing fans from around the Caribbean a chance to see some of the world’s greatest players competing in the biggest party in sport”, Munroe noted.
