Abosaide Cadogan competing in the Under-13 Girls Singles category was the lone winner for Guyana on Day 2 of the Caribbean Regional Badminton Championships (CAREBACO) being played in Jamaica.
Competing on Tuesday in the Individual Singles Quarter Finals at the Alfred Sangster Auditorium University of Technology Kingston, Cadogan defeated Kayla Miller of Barbados 27-25, 21-13.
In the Under-17 Girls Doubles Quarter-Finals, the pair of Ambika Ramraj (Guyana) and Brittney Mohamed (Trinidad) lost to Jada Renales and Ralitsa Wong of Trinidad 21-13, 21-23, 21-16.
In the Open Men Singles Second Round, Christopher Persaud (GUY) lost to Shaquille Palmer of Jamaica 21-9, 21-13.
