The Guyana Rugby Football Union has given the green light for affiliated clubs to participate in a 10-a-side tournament which is set to commence today, at the National Park, starting from 15:00hrs.
According to a release, the clubs met on Tuesday in the National Park and decided to stage the tournament which will involve Yamaha Caribs, the Guyana Defence Force (GDF), University of Guyana (UG) and Hornets.
The tournament will be staged over two rounds with two games scheduled to be played on each Saturday starting from 15:00hrs.
Commencing today, Yamaha Caribs go up against Hornets in the opening fixture and that will be followed by the clash between the GDF and UG.
