A 31-year-old father of two, with another child on the way, was last evening fatally stabbed after he confronted a man who was urinating on the wheel of his minibus.
Dead is Gavin Fiffee, of 93 Sideline Dam, Beterverwagting.
According to reports, the driver was loading his minibus at the Plaisance bus park when another man began urinating on the wheel of the vehicle.
This angered passengers and when Fiffee confronted the man, an argument ensued, at which point in time the man who was urinating on the bus stabbed him to the upper right chest.
According to reports, Fiffee’s attacker was identified by eyewitnesses as an Ann’s Grove man called ‘Bad Boy.’
Fiffee was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) by a public spirited citizen.
He was bleeding profusely and despite a valiant battle by doctors to save his life, he succumbed on the operating table.
Fiffee leaves to mourn the mother of his children Antonia Beveney, who is also eight months pregnant, as well as his two daughters and other family members.
Scores of relatives and friends converged at the hospital upon hearing about the killing and some were inconsolable.
