With the National Under-17 football team set to leave these shores on Tuesday for the Dominican
Republic where they will compete in the Caribbean Football Union leg of the World Under-17 qualifying competition, two of the players have received a pair of boots each, compliments of Color’s Boutique, Robb Street.
Yesterday at the entity’s location Supervisor, Ms. Kezia Hetsberger presented the boots to Ryan ‘Bum Bum’ Hackett who is a left side midfield player and Keno Washington who will seek to score many goals in the Junior Jaguars quest to take their nation to victory.
The two players were in the presence of Physical Trainer Mr. Trevor Beckles who thanked Ms. Hetsberger and Colors Boutique for their timely gesture.
Ms. Hetsberger said that they were very pleased to be of assistance to the two young players as they embark on flying the national colors aloft. She also noted that they have always been very supportive of sports and the development of youths.
Guyana will come up against the host nation, Dominican Republic, Barbados and Antigua & Barbuda.
