Builders Lumber Yard registered successive victories when the Rafman Ali softball tournament continued last Sunday at Better Hope.
Builders Lumber Yard overcame Accomplishment and Challengers by 10 wickets each in their two matches. Accomplishment were bowled out for 83 in 12 overs batting first. Sohan Raghunanand claimed 3-11 and S. Sumra 2-6. Erie Sharma and Zulfikar Ali then guided Builders Lumber Yard to victory with an unbroken opening stand of 87 in six overs. Sharma scored 34 not out and Ali 30.
Challengers took first strike and were sent packing for 89 in 12 overs. Mahase Chunilall grabbed 5-14 and Raghunanand 2-15. Builders Lumber Yard replied with 93 without loss in nine overs. Ali fashioned an unbeaten 66 and Sharma made 22.
