Dear Mr. President,
I am a Citizen of Guyana, who has a pressing medical emergency. Both my kidneys have collapsed and the Ministry of Health assisted me once with a check for $360,000 to pay Doobay Renal Center for Hemo-Dialysis.
For the second time I collected all the necessary papers and submitted them to one Ms. Bibi Seeraj, who told me that as soon as she receives confirmation from NIS that it is not paying me, she will submit the requisition to Cabinet for approval.
Mr. President, that was actually two months ago since I came out of hospital and since then, I have not been dialysed,
At present both of my feet are swollen and can’t even get into my shoes. I had to cut open my shoes, in order to get something to wear. I even approached the Chief Medical Officer for help and none is forthcoming.
I am on the verge of being poisoned with toxin and my wife Dr Zoila Fletcher from PAHO, is at present in Cuba and unable to help me financially. Mr. Khan was approached about me doing Dialysis at the GPHC, but he claims that the facilities t the Hospital are for in-house patients
Mr President, I would become a Permanent Resident of the Hospital, if every time I need Dialysis, I have to be admitted. I am now appealing to you, Mr. President, to use your Executive Power and intervene on my behalf to save my life.
Thanking you in anticipation and looking forward to your urgent intervention.
Aubrey Gill
