The Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) has congratulated Leon Johnson on his selection for the second test against New Zealand which commences on Monday in Trinidad and Tobago.
A release from the board stated that his selection came as no surprise since he has been scoring heavily for Guyana in all formats of the game. He also preformed creditably for the West Indies High Performance Center against Bangladesh A notching a few half centuries recently.
The DCB has recognised and appreciated Johnson’s commitment to cricket and wish him well in his future endeavours.
