Scotiabank Bartica has contributed $50,000 dollars to Bartica Communication Cable network to
facilitate the sponsorship of the World Cup football.
Bartica is a community with a strong football bias and with the world’s biggest football event on show, residents from the area would have been clamouring to see the matches. Scotia Bank Bartica Branch, as it has done in the past, came forward to ensure they fulfill their corporate responsibility and help offset the costs so the Bartica residents could see matches during the tournament.
