A deserving Shell V-Power customer is now living the dream of every motor-sport enthusiast as she prepares to jet to the Ultimate VIP Ferrari Experience at the 2014 Formula 1 Shell Belgian Grand Prix from August 22 to 24, at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
Samantha Foster emerged as the winner of the trip for two to Belgium, Grand Prix tickets, and US$1,000 in spending money in the Grand Prize draw recently held at Sol Guyana Inc., Main Office, the licensed operator of Shell Service Stations in Guyana.
There was rousing applause during the presentation ceremony held on May 2, as the lucky winner was congratulated and presented with her prize by Donna Hope, Sales and Marketing Manager of SOL GUYANA INC.

Noting that the response by customers to the promotion had been inspirational, Hope said Shell V-Power was a major part of Shell’s longstanding Technical Partnership with Ferrari which began over 60 years ago. She added that Shell continued to provide the Ferrari team with fuels and lubricants essential to the operation of the Scuderia Ferrari F138.
Commenting on the success of the promotion, the Sales and Marketing Manager thanked Shell Service Station dealers, site staff and participating customers for their enthusiasm, noting the promotion had achieved its main goals of rewarding a valued customer with the experience of a lifetime while reenergizing the market by sharing the key attributes associated with the Shell brand.
Hope said that Sol was passionate about offering quality, high performance fuels and encouraged customers to keep trying Shell V-Power, which features a unique double action formulation designed to actively clean your engine and reduce friction to help deliver more power throughout the life of your car.

Customers became eligible for participation in the promotion with every $3,000 spent on Shell V-Power gasoline or Shell Diesel. Several customers also benefitted from instant prizes of Ferrari watches, while there were fuel vouchers of $5,000 for entrants receiving calls from 98.1 FM.
Every summer Formula 1 enthusiasts converge on Spa for the Belgian Grand Prix. Located 87 miles from Belgium’s capital city of Brussels, Spa is located in an idyllic wooded valley surrounded by hills and many rivers and springs.
