The semi-finals of the Georgetown Cricket Association (GBC)/Carib Beer T20 Cricket Competition are scheduled for tomorrow in what should be two pulsating matches at the DCC ground in Queenstown.
In the first match, scheduled to start at 09:30 hrs, GCC face-off with GNIC while home team DCC clash with Police Sports Club at 13:30 hrs in the other semi-final. Umpires Shannon Crawford and Colin Alfred will officiate in both matches.
Exciting cricket is expected with National players Chris Barnwell and Paul Wintz among those turning out for DCC, while Leon Johnson and Robin Bacchus are included in the GCC line-up. West Indies batsman Assad Fudadin, former Test off-spinner Clyde Butts and ex-Guyana pacer Rayon Griffith are a part of the GNIC unit, while Trevor Benn, who toured with the Guyana senior team and former National under-19 pacer Seon Daniels should be included in the Police team.
