Grade 4C defeated Grade 6A by nine runs to win the final in the Primary division of the School of the Nations inter class cricket competition sponsored by Trophy Stall which was played recently. Grade 4C batted first and made 58 off their allotted 10 overs. Zachary Jodah scored 48 not out. Grade 6 A replied with 39 in 10 overs.
In the secondary final, Form three F overcame Form four B. Raymond Perez received the prize for scoring the most runs, 71 not out and Daunita Jandoo collected the best bowler award after taking 4-3.
Inter House Cricket was only played at the Secondary level where the team was made up of six males and five females. Arawak overcame Carib in the final. Raymond Perez was rewarded for scoring 94, while Sasha Murray received the best bowler trophy with 2-21. Perez (39), Daniel Sears (1-2), Aaron Evans (80) collected prizes for the outstanding performances in the semi finals.
Also receiving prizes for performing creditably were Joshua Kissoon (30 runs), Mya Caesar (2 wickets for 8 runs), Aaron Evans (33*), Marie Taylor (3-5), David Bisson (62), Samuel Booker (3-0), Javier Rodrigues (25) Emmanuel Major (5-3), Zachary Jodah (56), Rebekah Gharbaran (1-2), Sasha Murray (24), Brian Jagmohan (4-2), Jaina Nash (25), Macy Morgan (2-9), Kris Raiawan (08), Devin Shvray (3-0), Raymond Perez (37) and Sir Khan (3-12).
Staff of the school thanked Trophy Stall for their timely donation.
