Two more potentially exciting matches in the Stag Beer sponsored East Bank Football Association division one league are set for tomorrow afternoon at the Grove Playfield, kicking off at 13:00hrs.
Timehri Panthers, currently in the second position (9 points), the same as leaders Agricola (better goal difference) will be seeking to take over the lead fully when they take on bottom of the table Herstelling FC competing in their first full season.
While the Timehri boys will go into this game as favourites, the ever improving Herstelling side has been showing improvements and is expected to put up a stern fight.
The days feature game will be a humdinger of an affair with home team Grove Hi Tech coming up against Kuru Kururu Warriors who are ahead of Grove by three points having played one game more.
The Warriors have won two of their three games with one loss, while Grove have won one and lost one. Fans are in for a treat in this game as both teams will be aiming for full points to enhance their quest for top honours and close the gap on the leaders.
Ansa McAl Trading, under the Stag Beer brand is the sole sponsor of the league which will see the winning team carting off the Stag Beer Cup and $400,000 along with bragging rights as the best club in the EBFA.
