Berbice Education Institute (BEI) recorded their first victory in the Scotia Bank/Pepsi Football Academy on Saturday against Berbice High School when the Berbice leg of the tournament got underway at the All Saints Ground, New Amsterdam.
Scoring for BEI were Glenroy Henry and Dwayne Allen in the 49th and 59th minutes. Allen’s goal came by way of a penalty.
Meanwhile, in Georgetown at the Ministry of Education Ground on Sunday, Lodge Secondary and Charlestown Secondary schools played to a nil draw.
